Matthew Draelos, M.D. is Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. He has devoted his professional career to helping his patients control and live with a variety of chronic metabolic and hormonal diseases.

The Draelos Metabolic Center is a direct outgrowth of his belief that patients deserve both specialized and the most advanced medical care in dealing with metabolic diseases, including obesity.

• Married for 18 years to Kay Draelos, an Arbonne Executive National VP
• Three children: Mitchell (14), Preston (12), Julia (10)

Career:

Diabetes runs in my family. My father had Type 1 Diabetes and I have Diabetes too. So I knew early on that I wanted to work in a field in which I could help people living with chronic illness. I specialize in the treatment of diabetes, endocrine and metabolic disorders, as well as in helping patients overcome overweight and obesity. I find it tremendously rewarding to be able to help individuals do the best they can while living with chronic disease. I enjoy getting to know my patients and working with them to achieve their health goals.

Why Edmond and Oklahoma City:

When I decided to open Draelos Metabolic Center, I knew that it would be located in Edmond. We love living and working in Edmond and serving the greater Oklahoma City area. It is a nice, family-oriented community with wonderful schools and a great business environment. The Edmond / Oklahoma City area has been a perfect fit for our family and for my practice.
