Our Weight Loss Programs
At Draelos Metabolic Center, our goal is to help determine the best weight loss program for your individual needs. Our programs currently include:

Standard Weight Loss Program

$50 per visit *


Moderate weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week

Specially designed for those who are self-motivated to lose weight, this program offers guidance toward choosing appropriate nutritional supplements and diet strategies aimed at a healthier lifestyle. A BIA is performed at each visit. Appetite suppressants may also be prescribed. Visits are generally every 2 to 4 weeks during the weight-loss phase, but vary by individual.

Fit 2 You

$500

This is a highly personalized 8-week program, and the intensity of weight loss is individualized for you. It consists of 5 visits with a dietitian specializing in weight loss, including an initial one-hour visit and four follow-up appointments. For those who have been through rapid weight loss, the emphasis is on the development of a livable maintenance diet.


Focus on Health

$500 plus cost of medical foods

This is an 8-week lifestyle program designed to help you achieve optimal health by focusing on cutting-edge research on health improvement and addressing issues such as metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and high cholesterol. We use a combination of an exchange-type food program (which is “normal” food purchased from the grocery store, plus 1-2 servings of pharmaceutical grade medical food per day in the form of shakes or bars) and appetite suppressants if warranted. (Medical food cost is $40-75 per week.) Through this program, many patients are able to decrease or discontinue medications for lipid management, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Maintenance

This program helps cement your weight loss success. This key phase of our program is a vitally important and ongoing part of any successful long-term weight management program. We strive to help you continue to replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones and to keep you from regaining the weight you have worked so hard to lose.

30 minute follow-up with dietitian $80
