Dr. Draelos is Board Certified in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. He has devoted his professional career to helping patients live optimal lifestyles by controlling a variety of chronic metabolic and hormonal diseases. He believes patients deserve advanced and specialized medical care when dealing with metabolic diseases, including obesity.
Brooke Henderson, APRN-C, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with a Masters in Nursing from Maryville University. She chose to pursue family healthcare because she is passionate about treating people of all ages.
Brooke chose Draelos Metabolic Center because she has always felt inspired to help people feel better, on the inside and outside. She knows that confidence is a key factor in maintaining health and wellness. Brooke is willing to go the extra mile to assist each patient achieve the confidence, and care, they need to achieve their goals.
Kevan graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Exercise Science. He continued his education at Wichita State University and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Kevan has specialized in endocrinology and has specific interests in thyroid disorders, diabetes, and testosterone therapy.
He is originally from Kansas, but is now an Oklahoma City resident and rabid Thunder fan.
Sam graduated from the University of Florida with a Master of Public Health degree. She focused her collegiate studies on health care administration and went on to manage a statewide healthcare marketing campaign right out of college. With nearly a decade of management experience, she is passionate about leading professional practices with a clear goal of placing patient satisfaction as number one.
Sam is originally from Florida, but is now an Oklahoma City resident. When asked what her favorite part about living in OKlahoma City is, she responded with, “I love living downtown. It's nice to be a stone’s throw away from so many interesting things like Thunder basketball, the Oklahoma City Dodgers and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.
Tara graduated from City College in Moore, Oklahoma with a Master of Medical Coding and Billing. She has been working in medical billing since 2007 and is currently working to receive her Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) certification at OCCC. She is anticipating CAP certification by the end of this year!
When asked what her favorite part about working at Draelos Metabolic Center is she said, "My favorite part about Dr. Draelos' office is the diversity of staff and the wide variety of services offered to patients."
Jessica graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Apparel Merchandising. She has worked in customer service for ten years and recently moved to Edmond from Stillwater. Her favorite part about living in Edmond is the convenience of having everything close to where she lives.
When asked what her favorite part about working at Draelos Metabolic Center is Jessica said, "I like meeting and interacting with the patients here and I enjoy working with with my team everyday"
With nearly a decade of healthcare experience serving as a Certified Medical Assistant, Wanda brings her acquired knowledge of quality healthcare to assist the patients of Draelos Metabolic Center. She has been loyally serving at Draelos Metabolic Center for 2 and a half years.
Wanda is originally from the state of Texas, but has been an Edmond resident for the past three years. When asked what her favorite part about living and working in Edmond is she said, 'My favorite part about living in Edmond is being close to my family and my favorite part about working here is the patient interaction and kind staff. I love to see patients grow and meet their health and wellness goals. I love my work team because we are a family. We not only care about our patients; we care about each other."
Cherrell is one of the newest members of the Draelos Metabolic Center team. She graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, as a collegiate athlete, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Med Biology. She has medical experience in laboratory services and orthopedic surgical care.
"My favorite part about working here is the patient interaction and that I get to learn something new everyday," said Cherrell when asked what her favorite part about working at Draelos Metabolic Center is. She intends on eventually attending medical school. "I want to be an MD or DO, whichever life takes me to," said Cherrell regarding her future career goals.
